Workflow-Centric Approach Improves Efficiencies

PrimePatient enhances the physician practice’s workflow by allowing patients to enter their data and communicate directly with physicians and practice staff. This open communication can positively impact patient health management, create happier, healthier patients and improve provider-patient relationships.

Patients can create and maintain a personal health record (PHR) in PrimePatient.  A PHR is typically a health record created and maintained by an individual regarding his or her own condition.  It provides a complete, accurate summary of current health, chronic problems and medical history. PrimePatient offers your patients the tools to initiate and maintain their PHR.

Patients can initiate appointment requests, submit their reason for the visit and request a provider, day and time. This allows efficient, phone-free review and scheduling by office staff with a confirmation email back to the patient.

Prior to their scheduled appointment, patients can complete registration and health history forms customized to record present illness information, family, social and medical histories and other pertinent information. This data can be ready for clinical use when the patient arrives, making the appointment more efficient, and enhancing physician-patient communication.

Emails can also alert patients when lab and test results are available. Physicians can interpret the results, add clinician comments and communicate with the patient all through the web portal. This again enhances physician-patient relationships and office efficiencies.

PrimePatient allows patients to request prescription refills and communicate problems or issues with current medications. Providers then review the requests and take appropriate action based on the patient’s comments and their PrimeSuite medical profile.

PrimePatient allows users to offer a library of detailed educational handouts and videos to help patients understand their illnesses and medications and better manage their health.

PrimePatient facilitates increased revenue generation opportunities by supporting the ability to charge for electronic prescription refill processing and electronic consultations. In addition, your customized web portal increases marketing and advertising exposure to all potential patients.
