Greenway Quality Statement
Delivering Quality to Healthcare Providers and Their Patients with PrimeSUITE®
"Quality” is a word that is used broadly in the healthcare environment. It is primarily used as a reference point in the evaluation of patient care, where it relates directly to the services provided by physicians and other clinicians to their patients — care delivered safely, effectively and efficiently. But in today’s world, we also talk about the quality of the care experience not only for consumers but also for healthcare professionals and office staff. Was it easy and convenient to schedule an appointment? Do patients have secure access to their medical information online? Does your office staff work less overtime? Are clinicians able to spend more time with patients and less time on administrative tasks?
Greenway Medical Technologies is driven by the pursuit of quality — in our solutions, in our services, in our customer relationships and, most of all, in how PrimeSUITE® impacts the care you deliver and your business operations. In more than 1,600 practices located in 48 states and the District of Columbia, more than 35,000 healthcare providers are using Greenway products to improve the quality of the healthcare experience for their employees and the more than 20 million patients they serve. Simply put, they are delivering better care in a more efficient workplace.
Dr. Samuel Lederman of Palm Beach Obstetrics and Gynecology in Lake Worth, FL, winner of a 2008 HIMSS Davies Award for ambulatory electronic health record implementation, said "Since we implemented Greenway’s solution, we have eliminated a number of potential medical errors. We are also turning over lab reports very quickly and we never have trouble finding a chart anymore.”
Through the integrated solutions within PrimeSUITE, Dr. Lederman and every Greenway customer has the tools to assess the quality of care they deliver and to participate in pay-for-performance initiatives such as the Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI) that can increase their reimbursement for reporting specific quality measures.
Greenway is equally committed to and involved in Nationwide Health Information Network (NHIN) projects, as envisioned by the federal government in 2005 and enacted through a variety of current pilot projects — some of which are utilizing PrimeSUITE’s data exchange capabilities. This new quality paradigm — where information is shared among physician practices, hospitals, and other participating care delivery organizations through health information exchange — will be the basis of a transformed and sustainable healthcare system that anticipates new payment models such as Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs). Greenway will continue to lead the way by expanding its partnerships and evolving PrimeSUITE and PrimeEXCHANGE® to meet the growing demands for quality data to support high quality care.
Greenway Medical Technologies leads the industry in these challenging and complex efforts. Partner with Greenway to be on the forefront of our healthcare transformation while providing the most advanced care possible.
