Content for our General Surgery specialty started with board-certified General Surgeon James Ingram, M.D., F.A.C.S., now a Greenway Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and valued internal consultant to our Clinical Content Team. In 2002, Dr. Ingram was a practicing surgeon at an early-adopting PrimeSuite site. Initial General Surgery templates and related content were more widely used for point-of-care, clinical documentation in 2003. Content has been revised and further developed through extensive beta-testing by PrimeSuite physicians at four independent General Surgery practices. As of August 2007, General Surgery content has been used at PrimeSuite sites during more than 160,000 patient hours for point-of-care documentation.
