Western Washington-Based Healthcare Provider, Seeing More Than 250,000 Patients Per Year, to Utilize Greenway's Flagship EHR Solution, PrimeSuite

March 4, 2009, Carrollton, Ga. – Greenway Medical Technologies, a leading provider of integrated electronic health records (EHR), practice management and interoperability functionality, today announced that it will be deploying its industry leading EHR solution, PrimeSuite^®, into the nation's largest general pediatric practice, the 70- physician Pediatric Associates of Washington State.

With this implementation, Pediatric Associates' eight facilities (Bellevue, Factoria, Pine Lake, Redmond, Sammamish, Totem Lake, Redmond Ridge and an administrative office located in the greater Puget Sound region of Washington) will utilize PrimeSuite 2008, a fully CCHIT Certified^® 08 ambulatory EHR that includes certification in child health, to streamline its clinical, financial and administrative workflows while creating an interoperable system where patient information can be shared seamlessly within the organization.

Pediatric Associates began treating patients in 1967 and offers a variety of general pediatric services to some 250,000 infants, children and adolescents, including children of the more than 40,000 Microsoft^® Corp. employees who reside in the region.

Along with using PrimeSuite, Pediatric Associates will utilize other components of Greenway's complete physician's infrastructure to streamline its workflows. Pediatric Associates will be utilizing PrimeExchange to create interoperability between its eight facilities and the diagnostic centers with which these facilities send and share test results. To enhance the process even further, Pediatric Associates will also utilize Greenway's PrimePatient^®, which will enable patients or their parents and guardians to pay bills, schedule appointments, interact with Pediatric Associates staff members, view lab results and request prescriptions – all online via a secure Web portal.
