Greenway Medical Technologies' Growth Continues with Significant Fiscal Year 2008 Gains

Integrated EHR Leader's Growth Up 47 Percent from Fiscal Year 2007

August 25, 2008, Carrollton, Ga. – Greenway Medical Technologies Inc., further establishing itself as a leading provider of single-database, electronic health record (EHR), practice management and interoperability solutions, recently announced a 47 percent increase in sales for its fiscal year 2008, ending June 30, 2008, as compared to fiscal year 2007, ending June 30, 2007. Greenway® completed the year with more than 700 medical practices and approximately 20,000 healthcare providers and professionals nationwide utilizing its fully integrated EHR, PrimeSuite®, to streamline their clinical, financial and administrative workflows.

Greenway's growth was highlighted throughout the year with such distinctions as having the first EHR, PrimeSuite 2007 R2, to be certified by CCHIT based on 2007 Ambulatory EHR Certification requirements, a second consecutive “Best in KLAS” award in the ambulatory electronic medical records (EMR) category for practices consisting of between six and 25 physicians, as well as inclusion in one of the healthcare information technology (HIT) industry's first wide scale, real-time demonstrations of standards-based interoperability using the Continuity of Care Document (CCD).

In June, Greenway marked its 10-year anniversary with the 700th deployment of PrimeSuite and also completed construction of a state-of-the-art, multimillion dollar customer support center on the Greenway campus in Carrollton. The center serves as the hub of Greenway's customer support efforts, offering an innovative call center communication system and large training facilities to better serve Greenway customers.

“Since its inception in 1998, Greenway has been dedicated to excellence and leadership in the HIT industry, and today, our software and on-demand services are used in physician practices, hospitals, health information exchanges (HIEs), integrated delivery networks (IDNs), regional health information organizations (RHIOs), independent physicians associations (IPAs) and clinical research facilities across the country, helping organizations reduce costs by optimizing point-of-care documentation, personal health records, quality reporting and clinical research,” said Tommy Green, chairman and CEO of Greenway Medical Technologies Inc. “We are very pleased with our record-setting growth and Greenway will continue to invest in our solutions, our people and our company to ensure that we remain an industry leader.”
